Attendant Console and PIX

Hello,

We have a PIX that sits between the Data VLAN (PCs) and the Voice Vlan (Phone and CallManager). Does anyone know what ports (TCP & UDP) we need to open on the PIX to allow the Attendant Console app to run from the Data VLAN (PCs)?

Thank you,

Re: Attendant Console and PIX

I could not locate this information exactly but I would suggest you to do the following. With restrictions imposed on the PIX and logging enabled, I would suggest you to initiate the session from the Attendant console, you will then see this traffic being blocked by the PIX in its log with the Port # information. You can then open up those specific ports for the particular IP address.

Re: Attendant Console and PIX

There are three ports :

TCP 1101, TCP 2748 and TCP 1614

But one thing you should know is that the port 1614 used to be 1799 and I still can't figure out why it changed.

Hope this helps.
