Call doesn't connect when caller ID not present

Hi,

We have the following setup and when PSTN caller's caller id is blocked the call doesn't connect and the caller hears a continous long tone. Calls with caller IDs connect fine. Any ideas.

PSTN ===> CUBE ====> NORTEL PBX

Does the terminating phone on the Nortel side ring? Does the call then disconnect when it goes off hook? Do you see the call hit the CUBE?

Are you using FXO?

That CUBE thta you sau, is actually a voice gateway ?
