CCME Reporting Capabilities

Is there a place to access sample reports and information on how to pull call detail reports from CME?

Re: CCME Reporting Capabilities

Steve,

CME has limited CDR support out of the box. You can look at calls in the CME Web page based off the call history on the router, HTTP://*CMEIP*/CCME.html then goto Reports/Call History. Also on the router CLI, show call history voice?Displays the call history table for voice calls.

Here is an excerpt on adjusting the CDR storage.

To specify call detail record (CDR) storage time, use the dial-control-mib command, which has two sets of keyword and argument options. The max-size number option specifies the maximum size of the CDR event table. The valid range is from 0-500, and the default is 50. Setting the value to 0 disables the CDR feature.

The retain-timer number option specifies the length of time in minutes that entries will remain in the call history table. The valid range is from 0-2147483647 minutes, and the default is 15. Setting the value to 0 prevents any call history from being retained.

You could also log CDR via syslog, then custom report off of that data. Here is a link discussing this.

Lastly, you have the option of 3rd party software, ex. StoneVoice makes CDR billing app for CME.
