Our company plans to move out the Cisco TFTP service from CCM to easy the CCM's traffic. Do we have to use Cisco TFTP service for the new TFTP server? If so, do we need to have additional licenses to setup Cisco TFTP service in the new TFTP server?
Please advice.
Thanks!

Hi William,
This is an excellent choice to move this off the CCM and is a recommended "best practice" for systems over 1,000 phones. This does not have to be built on a Cisco server and does not require any additional licenses :) Have a look at this good doc (thanks Majid!);
Hope this helps!

Hi Eyanghawaii,
I know Cisco have made a product that is called CNR.
It is a DHCP-, DNS- and TFTP-Server in one.
It support VLAN taging and VRF tagging.
But the server has ofcause a licenes fee.
The alternative is to look at open software...
