Hello Team,
Hello Team,
We are using Cisco SX20 and configured the Public Ip address,
We can able receive the call from outside but not able call dial out,i have tried several Public IP address for the testing but none of them not working.
There is no gatekeeper ,Public Ip address configured directly to the system.
Please suggest the same
Thanks in advance

Are call set-up mode set to "Direct" and are you specifying call protocol as H.323 ?

Two things; ensure call protocol is set to H.323, and are your system behind a firewall?
Make sure you test with an address which is known to be "good", such as the one found at http://vtctest.pointsofdata.com/

Thanks for your replay
We have connected VC directly to the internet there is no Firwall in between.
Also have already tried the the above test IP address but call is not going.
Thanks

Software version should not matter since you are dialling IP addresses and not a URI type address such as Alias@domain, which can only be done without being registered to a Gatekeeper as of TC4.2 and later. Having said that, what software version does it currently have?
Might be helpful if you could capture xconfiguration and xstatus output and upload/attach those files here.

Looks like there could be an issue with the test addresses on http://vtctest.pointsofdata.com/ - however, 140.242.250.204 and 140.242.250.205 both works - these are Polycom hosted test facilities. Would be an idea to try either or both of those.
If you can't connect to those addresses, SSH into the system, use the following commands;
systemtools network ping 140.242.250.204
systemtools network traceroute 140.242.250.204
This should give you an idea where the call fails.
(You can also get xstatus and xconfiguration by loggin in remotely using SSH.)
