cisco1721 and FRF.12 for VoIP

hallo

I have a cisco1721 router and I need to implement VoIP over FR PVC.

One of the QoS feature I know is FR Fragmentation (FRF.12) but looking at SOFTWARE ADVISOR I don't find FRF.12 for cisco1721.

Does cisco1721 support FRF.12 ?

If not must I change router (like 1760) or is there a feature like FRF.12 on cisco1721 ?

Re: cisco1721 and FRF.12 for VoIP

1721 does not support Voice features and functionality at all.

FRF12 was specifically designed to support VoIP over FR links, as you know. Accordingly the best choice will be to change t he router model.

In addition couple of advises based on my experience:

* If you are going to use LLQ make sure you choose LLQ for FR feature.

* If you are using separate PVC for Voice and separate for Data, FR PIPQ (PVC Interface Priority Queuing) will be the best choice
