Hey guys, I'm having a problem with one phone. The rest of the phones seem to work fine and register with CM however there is one bad apple in the bunch. It keeps saying Fallback Service Operating, I have tried everything I can think of and I can't spot it, maybe you can help. The thing is when I go into the phones IP, it works, I can also ping it from Call Manager. I notice the Status Message is giving me a DNS timeout however. This seems to be the problem. Every other phone has the call manager IP http://CISCO/CCMCIP/GetTelecasterHelpText.asp where CISCO is IP. However, the bad phone doesn't have the IP, it just says http://CISCO/CCMCIP/GetTelecasterHelpText.asp. Any clues as to why? Thank you.

So, it's on SRST right now??
Have you tried using a manual IP config and not rely on DNS??

Hey Jaime,
It is not on SRST but I figured out the problem. Basically, there were two DHCP pools for Voice and Data, but it was odd that only one VLAN was being used. Basically, it was a configuration problem, I added option 150 to the Voice VLAN and there it was, the phone found the DNS and registered to call manager.
Thanks for the help anyways!
