CMS SIP Listening port

Randall Jackson

Hello,

I would like to send calls to CMS using port 5070 instead of 5061. I have changed my Cisco UCM configuration on the SIP trunk and SIP Trunk security profile to use 5070. However, now the SIP trunk shows not active when using OPTIONS PING.

I have updated my outbound rules for the SIP proxy on CMS to use domain:port with the port being 5070 and i am able to make outbound calls from CMS, however, i cannot send a call to CMS on port 5070. Has anyone ever attempted to change this before?

I see no available options to set this via any API method.

Thanks in advance.

Looking at the guides, doesn't appear you can change the SIP port, only options are 5060 and 5061.

Thank you for the reply. I was hoping to find some flexibility in the product, similar to other products that let you pick the port. I was able to use a domain:port on the SIP proxy for outbound, however, on inbound i cannot make it work on any other port than 5061.

Hopefully this gets road mapped at somepoint
