DSP card

Hi,

I replace one AS5300 with AS5400XM (new DSP) cards. The DSP card is S5X-PVDM2-64 (AS5X-FC). How do I config it?

First, make sure you are running the latest Cisco NextPort SPE Firmware for it to support conferencing/transcoding: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/accesssw/ps504/prod_release_note09186a008007e570.html

Then, just follow this configuration sample:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps5640/products_configuration_example09186a008092d6b3.shtml#full_config

Hope it helps!

Re: DSP card

Start here with the AS5350XM and AS5400XM config guide -

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/as5350xm/software/configuration/guide/5354sw.html

Note that the AS5X-FC uses the PVDM2-64 DSP modules (based on the Texas Instruments C5510 DSP's similar to what is used on the 2800/3800 routers) , the rest of the config will be similar to any other voice capable router, so technically your old config <> work by changing over voice port references.
