We have a peculiar problem with connectivity between Cisco 3845 and Ericson MD110.
E1 Configuration on the router is as follows-
controller E1 2/0
ds0-group 1 timeslots 1-15,17-31 type r2-digital dtmf dnis
country india use-defaults
The dialing sequence is as follows -
Dial 9, the seize the channel
followed by dialing of the number. (example - dial 601xxxx)
The dial-peer on the router will make a H.323 call and pass the whole number to the destination.
The setup was working from few years, now suddenly after dialing 9 to seize the channel (tone is provided by the router) the following dialed number are not passed to the router. The router will time-out and give an error signal.
After trying couple of times, we are able to pass the digits successfully. It is observed that this problem aggravates during peak hours when the number of calls made are more.
