Hi,
I have a cisco communications manager 6.1.2 with a cisco 2821 (c2800nm-adventerprisek9_ivs_li-mz.124-20.T.bin)
We need to attach the gateway to an external gnuGK Gatekeeper.
I have successfully registered my gateway to the gatekeeper....
sh gateway
H.323 ITU-T Version: 4.0 H323 Stack Version: 0.1
H.323 service is up
Gateway London is registered to Gatekeeper nghhGK
Alias list (CLI configured)
H323-ID London
Alias list (last RCF)
H323-ID London
But I am unable to establish a call to the far end. The "sh h323 gateway" show me......
trx_VoRTR_16#sh h323 gatewa

I send the call setup, but I do not receive anything back.
Anyone ever tried this before???

I would take a packet capture between the GK and gateway to see what is going on. I have never used GNUGK but it looks like there are some status commands you can issue to see if there are registration requests, calls, etc.

I have attached the gnuGK config scripts (cutdown from the supplier)
The configuration of the previous VoIP gateway which I am attempt to replace with our Cisco 2821.
A debug of all the commands whilst making a call.
Can you see anymore then what my TAC engineer can see. He says that we don't see a reply back from the Gatekeeper, but the Patton device works fine.

I would still get a packet capture using ethereal/wireshark to see if you are acutally getting responses from the GK. You might also remove that access list off of the router on the interface facing the GK just to test.

The debug h225 asn1 is a good start which you attached, but it was only during a registration event and I don't think that is the issue that you are asking about.
I see that there were two ARQ and two ACF with no rejections.

I would like to see this debug wile a call is being attempted.
Also, what do you mean by "but I do not receive anything back"? Back from where? The gnuGK or the destination GW?
