Problem Details: During implementation of IPTV service we faced a problem of abnormal behaviour of GSR.
First of all - we cannot see the normal pim-neighbors table (it cannot define a type of connection with P-router) Secondly, when we connect PC directly to GSR (int g1/1/8 in presented configuration file, we use GLC-T sfp module) and lunch VLC player - we couldn't receive "normal" multicast stream. But we receive some strange flow with unknown IP type 0xbeef.(ethereal sniffed file is applyed). We noticed, that a size of "new" packets is a little bit bigger (normal is 1358, bad is 1449).
When we debug ip igmp packets with different parameters (in vrf, with specific group) we could see absolutely nothing?!?!?!
Thirdly, the command "ip igmp join-group x.x.x.x" clean out the user interface and he could see video.
At the same room we have 7200 router, which is connected to the same P-routers as GSR. When we connect to it we see multicast video without problems.
