Have a dedicated TFTP Server for CCM cluster

Hi,

One CCM3.3(3) cluster in production, in which the publisher server was the TFPT server.

Now we need expend the system and would like to deploy a dedicated TFTP Server for the cluster. Is there anyone telling me what I should concern if I have a dedicated TFTP server other than the publisher server?

Thanks,

JJ

You didn't tell us how many servers there are in the cluster and how many devices. As a general rule, the publisher is used for tftp only in a large setup (no callmanager service running). It's a good idea to setup a dedicated tftp server.

Hi,

I have a similar issue. I have actually a pub and a sub, the pub is also the tftp server. Following the SRND, I need a dedicated tftp server because we're almost at 1250 users, growing every day. My question, which may seem very basic, is how do I build a dedicated tftp server ?
