how does iptv differentiate between servers

we currently have a couple of locations with iptv running, our clients are locally configured to use the local server, however when I look at routing table, I see the remote server as a source with the j and t bits set, and I check the igmp table and see that there are active members of the address that that server is using. any ideas why my clients would be joining that servers mcast group?

Re: how does iptv differentiate between servers

There is a bug related to the t bit set - CSCds09360 and CSCdr59765. May be this mightbe causing the problem
