does anybody know how to access and record initial greetings on CUE VM if you dont have an e phone associated with it.In other words these guys just have VM accounts on CUE no e phones..thanks

Sure, this trick may work for you:
There is a trick in that you can assign the E.164 number (for the voicemail user) to be 8721 (prepend a digit 8 to extension 721). In CME you build an sip dial-peer for 87.. pointing toward CUE (note the wildcards), then build a telephony-service transfer pattern for 87.. and make it blind. To use this simply have someone transfer the user without a phone into 8721 and they will get their greeting. They can then login to their mailbox and re-record greetings, etc.

thanks Rick..actually i found out that if u put PIN on each extention created u can access the CUE VM and be able to record initial greeting...without PIN you have to call the CUE VM from ur own extention..thanks again for the trick though..i will keep it for future..
