Looking to implement a small IP/TV design. Need design recomendations. Our basic design is a TV service via DirectTV, we then split out specific channels encode/convert them to MPEG(???) and use a WAE-612 as the IP/TV "Server". All viewers will be the Cisco IP/TV Viewer(150-200 users). Infrastrucure is a new colapsed distribution/core of 4506's and 3750's at the Access layer. Am I way out in left field..is there a better way to do this? Any guidance would be appreciated..got this thrown in my lap.

Cisco has introduced a new media delivery solution named DMS. It will utilize mpeg4 or wmv encoding. You will still need an encoding server that broadcasts multicast streams and a management server to configure the multicast addresses.
