MeetingPlace and Video MCU question.

Running MeetingPlace 5.3 with video integration. MCU 3540 has MC06A and EMP module which provides 48 available video ports and 2 concurrent conferences available are reported to MeetingPlace. How does MCU determine how many conferences are available? How can I change the number of concurrent sessions?

Check out the "Maximum number of parties" setting in the MCU's service prefix you use for MeetingPlace. If you lower that number, you should get more concurrent conferences.

Let say you set that number to 7, I think you would get 6 concurrent Conference. (48/(7+1 port for audio link))
