NO caller ID after CME upgrade..

Hi all,

 

 

So we decided to  upgraded the router and i went with upgrading the CME to 8.6 from 7.0.. running the recommended IOS 15.1-4M, the config was the same nothing changed, however we get no caller ID, i know nothing was changed on the carrier side as it was working hours before the change.. We simply get 'unknown'  when outbound calling.

Anyone ran into similar issues with the CME 8.6 ?

We're using a SIP trunk for in/outbound calls.

 Hello, As per my previous

 Hello,

 As per my previous reply on your other question, by default no caller-id goes for outbound calls to the end points on SIP Trunks and the caller information been remain striped off/stored to the TGW.

 I would recommend speak with your SIP Provider.
