Polycom VSX 5000 - where do I start/

In a cruel twist to my daily tasks a Polycom VSX 5000 showed up today. So where do I start? Do I configure this as a phone endpoint such as a 7985 or IP communicator with CUVA? We do not have meetingplace or Unified converencing or Presence. A gentle push towards some helpful documentation would be appreciated.

What is the proposite of the Polycom?

If the el proposite is to Video Call, from the Cisco 7985 for example, you must add the Polycom station in the Cisco Call Manager as H.323 Client, and from a Cisco Phone (CIPC+VTAdvantage or 7985) star a new call to Polycom, and a video call will be established. If you want video conference in the Cisco Phones and the Polycom you need a MCU 35XX.
