I am having a problem with a VIC-2FXO Cards in a VG200 running Cisco IOS 12.2(23). They are connect to a PBX using Nortel ATAs. When a Call arrives to FXO Card, is forwarded to a IP Phone, and when the operator answer, the call hangs off in the PBX side, and the user on IPphone still see the call active, but the PBX user see finished.
does the call still seem as active beyond the call-disconnect of 5 seconds?
you may be having the dreaded 'FXO Disconnect' problem which in this case would mean calls out the FXO (to the PSTN) should not experience this symptom. calls into the FXO (from PSTN) will experience this symptom.
if your FXOs are loop-start then they will depend on the calling switch (PSTN switch) to tell the FXO a call is terminated. this leaves the FXO in an off-hook state, even if the other side of the call has terminated.
