I have some Anyconnect clients with IP Communicator configured that are on the same subnet and I'd like the RTP streams to go directly between the laptops as opposed to hairpinning. I've configured the IP Communicators to use the local interface and they register with the CUCM. The packets between the IP Communicators and the CUCM have the source address of the anyconnect VA but the phones register using the local LAN address. I've configured a global service policy to do inspection on SIP packets. I thought inspection was supposed to reach into the packet and translate the IP addresses in both directions?
I'm not a security guy and am a little confused. Is what I'm trying to do possible?
