SIP or SCCP ?

Hi guys,

I need some advice on configuring a new CME environment on which I need users to share same extension on cisco desk phone and mobile sip client on thei iphone/android. I've got nearly n.40 7942g and n.3 8961.

My guess is that a SIP configuration for all extensions would be the best. What do you think about that ?

Am I going to loose some features when I don't use SCCP? I'm particularly interested in blf features.

Thank you Paolo. So you recommend sccp protocol for 7942 and sip for 8961. Right ? Maybe I can configure a sort of fallback to another extension when users need to use to use their mobile sip client?
