SPA-501G Problem forwarding CID

We use Cisco SPA-902, 942 and 501 IP telephones in our Asterisk installations.

The problem we encounter is that when we have an incoming call, the Caller ID is displayed correctly on the phone that is answering the call.

When we transfer the call to another SPA, the receiving phone does not display the originating Caller ID but the caller Id of the phone that did the transfer.

Since I do not have this problem with other phone brands (say Thomson), is there a configuration change I could make to remedie this?
