I am slightly confused on this topic so please bear with me...Heres my dilemma:
We have a number of Tandberg VC units (Profile 42, EX90 etc) that currently can do IP calls only as they are all registered to a TMS. If I wanted to connect a PRI line up to a VC unit at a remote site that would allow outbound and inbound calls how would I do this?
Our TMS system is competely separate from CUCM at moment so this isnt an option right now.
Is it possible to connect a PRI directly to a Tandberg, similar to how the older VC units (polycom etc) used to be able to?
As pri lines are a proven technology. SIP can add external calling to other organazations that support sip also. You can create a sip trunk with vcs. If you really want pri lines add a codian GW and register it with vcs and then add all the devices into TMS so that management and dialing are simplified
