upgradation of ccm and testing

i wish to upgrade the ccm to 4.1 and before connecting all phones .i wish to test with a single phone if everything is working fine i can connect rest of the phones to the CCM.

how we can do the test with the existing ip address ? kindly provide a solution for this

Are you using DHCP for your phones. If so, one option would be to reduce the lease time and disable the DHCP scope. You could then enter static addresses for IP, TFTP, and CCM addresses on the single phone. You would need to start this process at least as long before the upgrade as the current DHCP lease in order for the leases to expire. You could also create an ACL that only allows SCCP traffic from the phone that you want to test and any other SCCP devices that you need to test.
