VCS upgrade from X7.1 to X8.1

Hi Everybody,

I hope that someone can help me.

I've a doubt about the VCS upgrade. I need to upgrade a VCS from version X7.1 to X8.1 and I don't know exactly if I need to purchase some upgrade license to perform it. I read that I need a valid "Release key" to perform the upgrade but I do not understand so well what is the Release key and if it need to be purchased.

You need to have a valid service contract in place, if you do, then you can get the release key(s) from the licensing portal.
