VG E1 cannot talk with PABX

Hi Guys,

Here is the topology,

Topologi :

Analog Phone <==> PABX <==>E1<==>VG<==>CM<==>IP Phone

Issue;

Call from Analog phone to IP Phone is ok

Call from IP Phone to Analog is not ok

Cause code : 88

"Csim start" from VG to IP Phone is ok

"Csim start" from VG to Analog is not OK

Suspect :

Communication between VG and PABX with E1 interface

Show ISDN status already "multiple frame established"

Any idea for this issue.

For more detail I will attach the configuration of the VG.

Re: VG E1 cannot talk with PABX

This cause code 88 -Preemption: states your call is blocked. Calls are sometimes blocked if another call has a higher priority than your call. This situation is common with voice calls. Wait and call again later.

Please verify your dialer configuration.

1. Check the dialer configuration in the Vg..

2. If it is down, check framing, line coding, clock source, alarms, replace the cable, reseat the card, and so forth

For further information about cause code click this link.

Re: VG E1 cannot talk with PABX

Are you still having an issue?

What is the number of your IP phone and PBX phone?

When the analogue phone calls how many digits are you sending? The whole number or a number you are translating to the IP phone?

When the IP phone calls what number are you sending to the VG and then what does your PBX expect number wise?
