VOICE PORT COMMAND NOT AVAILABLE ON POTS

Hi,

I am trying to do tdm switching on my as5400 to terminate voice trafic i would be receiving from my service provider but when i try to configure pot s i am unable to get voice port command (port 6/4:15).

if anyone can jindly help me in this.

Change cios version . you are not having commands in your CLI because your CIOS is not supporting it.

Hi,

Do you see a voice-port 6/4:15 in the global configuration or any voice-ports?

If you have no voice-ports then do you have any ds0-groups defined under controller interface? ds0-group will create a voice-port that can be applied to a dial-peer. Another reason voice-ports will not show up is if there are no DSPs.
