VTA between 2 CCM cluster (H323 intracluster-trunk)

Hi, I have 2 CCM cluster linked together with a intracluster trunk (H323), Each site user VTA. It'it possible to use VTA over the intracluster trunk ?

Do I have to change my h323 trunk for a SIP trunk ?

Thanks !

You can use the h323 trunk you have. Read these links...

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a00802e06b8.html

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a00801ec5cf.html

Try setting your regions support either codec; wideband or more likely H.263.

Good luck,

Aaron

Re: VTA between 2 CCM cluster (H323 intracluster-trunk)

Sorry, but I think that I don't understand. My Video Advantage 2.0 support H263 and H264. With a preference for H264. According to this

URL at Table 17-2, http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_implementation_design_guide_chapter09186a00806e8c4c.html

CCM4.2 don't support H264 over a H323 trunk, only H263+.

Does H263+ include H263 ? How can I set the codec to be used in the CCM region ? Do I have to check the box MTP in the intracluster trunk config ?

Thanks !
