12 Sp+ troubleshooting

Hi,

I have some IP Phone 12 SP+ configure with Cisco Callmanager the version 3.3 2 Sp (B). My Problem it presents as the following:

The IP Phone (12 SP+) receives a call, when the user pick up a phone to answer the only thing which he can hear it’s a ring (no conversation can be establish, he hears only a ring).

I have this problem only with Cisco 12 SP+ IP Phone Model.

It could be due to codec mismatch. Similar problem was solved by using G711 codec on the Voice gateway. by default it could be G729r8. Changing it to G711 should work.
