18 sec silent between dialing digits and ring back tone

We have VoIP setup that connect branch offices through the head office PBX .(calls cross the E1 link twice that connect 3662 & PBX).

When call progress between two 1751 2V, there is a 18 second silent between dialing digits and getting ring back tone.

This seems not to be happened between 1750 2v.

Can anybody give me a suggestion to decrease this delay or add some tone to this silent period?

Thanks

Re: 18 sec silent between dialing digits and ring back tone

Pl. post the config here fromthe gateway. 180 secs is too long for ringback tone. Any config differences you have seen between 1720 and 150?

Also enable the debug for "debug voip ccapi inout" for that call to see what is going on till 18 secs.

Make sure that the milisecond timestamps in the debug it tuned on using

service timestamps debug date msec

Re: 18 sec silent between dialing digits and ring back tone

What kind of signalling you have on E1 lines? Also now need to see the debug for "debug voip ccapi inout" as i have requested in my earlier reply with msec timestamp.

Re: 18 sec silent between dialing digits and ring back tone

Signalling is R2 analog

Pls see the debug for 1750 below.. and 1751 will be in following posting..
