I am planning to setup a Cisco 2821 as an MGCP gateway with a few analogue phones connected to FXS ports. I would ideally like the analogue phones to be able to do call pickup from each other or any IP phones in the same call pickup group.
I'm not sure if this is possible. When I assign a DN to an FXS port I can add a call pickup group to the DN, but I do not know how to pickup calls from within the same group from the analogue phone. I have tried dialling **3 (which is what you dial on an ATA or VG224 apparently to do this) and also the call pickup group number.
In short I think it can't be done, and wondering if anyone can confirm this?
Also I assume its not possible to do this if the 2821 is configured as H.323?
