I am using dest-pat 9T .By default it waits for 10 sec. So, how can I save/reduce this 10 sec without pressing # for termination ?

For CME put under telephony-service the following command:
timeouts interdigit 3 ! 3 secs interdigit delay
The changes are effective immediately.
Also if it's ISDN to public network, it make sense to add "isdn sending-complete" under ISDN interfaces, so network won't want for overlap sending.
