allow-connections Removed?

I am running the latest 12.4(11)T and

12.4(11)T1 ip plus images on AS5400HPX's

I no longer have an

allow-connections option under

voice service voip

and sip 2 sip calls are failing like they

used to pre 12.4 ?? I can't find any documentation of this removal? or changes

to allow voip to voip connections?

Hi, I'm not quite sure how it was "before" but right now an IP-to-IP gateway image (and license) is needed for such calls, filename ends in _isv.

There are no ipipgw images for the AS5400HPX,

the allow-connections command was introduced

around 12.4 I believe and is still available

in the 12.4 ios variants except for

the 12.4T releases. The latest 12.4(13a) ip plus

has the command. My understanding is that

the 12.4T train should have everything from

12.4 plus all new features.. not less?

Hmm perhaps for the as5xxx the feature was in advanced service images for .T or something like that. Then sometime release managers can get wrong what is supposed to be in a given release or feature set, and fix it eventually.
