AS5300, allow only proxy invites.

Hi,

How do you go about securing an AS5300 with regard to who can place calls out through it - I'm using SIP. With vega's there exists an option to only accept proxy invites. Does something similar exist on the AS5300 ?

How would you prevent unauthorised use of it ?

Regards,

Alan

One method is to define an access list (ACL) on the AS5300 that only allows SIP messages (i.e. to port 5060) from the IP address of the proxy. That access list is then applied to the Ethernet interface.
