AS5300 Authenticating SIP to PSTN breakout

Hi,

I've got an AS5300 with four E1 ports in. I can place calls from SIP to PSTN and vice-versa fine. What I'd like to do is perform authentication on the calls going from SIP to PSTN to prevent unauthorised access.

We provide direct PSTN breakout as well as a calling card platform. Calls from trusted domains are to be allowed to use both methods, while calls from untrusted domains are to only be allowed access to the calling card platform via a short dial code. Using RADIUS(FreeRADIUS) for the authentication.

Is this the correct place to be doing this type of thing and is it possible?

Regards,

Alan

Alan,

I believe you can use IVR scripts in conjunction with AAA to accomplish this. here is a good link to get you started:
