AS5350 codec's question

Dear Pals:

I've configured an AS5350 as POTS. But my AS5350 just accept G.729's codec only,is there anything I should key inside in order to use other codec like G.723 ? Thanks !

yes.just configure its voice class codec.Set the additional codec you want by configuring their preferences.

The one with the higher preference will be used as a primary and the others will be secondary,third and so on.

In this way, your AS will not aceept G.729 only.

i've already config as follow before :

voice class codec 65

codec preference 1 g723r63

codec preference 2 g723r53

codec preference 3 g723ar63

codec preference 4 g723ar53

codec preference 5 g729r8

codec preference 6 g729br8

but i have just 1 voice class codec inside this router . so I have no idea what's going on . Hope you can advise me .
