I have a Cisco AS5850 with 24 E1. I need to interconnect one E1 link with a Mitel 3300. Unfortunately the cisco cannot match the inbound dial-peer and then the call never succeed and always the modems answer.
I alreday confirm that the Mitel is sending out the proper digits and also confirm the signalling between both equipments.
Can anybody help me to identify the possible problem here? I already look at the debug dialpeer output but no dial-peer is matched when the call hits the cisco, and the modems take the call.

I just configure one dial-peer for testin purposes, my dialing plan includes a lot.

ds0-group 1 timeslots 1-10 type r2-digital r2-compelled
I have found what i think is the problem. I opened a debug session in the Mitel link in order to look at the handshaking between the AS5850 and the Mitel, and what i got is that the trunk is seized properuly, then the cisco request the first number, the mitel then send the first number (in this case 0) then the cisco receives the 0 properly but instead sending the "send me the other number" request, the cisco send the "end digit collection" message and then all the rest of the string is not sent by the mitel because the mitel already got the message to finish the transfer.
I run a test to verify what i got in the debug, and i configured a dial-peer that matched the 0. I made a call dialing 011xxxxxxxxxx and the peer was matched with the 0 and the modem did not answer anymore.
So what i guess is that there is a differnece between the way the mitel and the cisco negotiates the transfer of the digit.
Can you suggest me any form to modify any required parameter on the cisco r2? Is there any way to customize this negotiation? I took a look on the cas-custom command and all its modifiers, but i-m not sure which is the one i would need to chancge.
