We have a remote site with a cisco 2811 with 2xT1 going into an MPLS cloud. We are running VoIP phones, not Cisco, NEC. We have 2 of our remote locations that are having this intermittent, unable to duplicate Choppy voice from the the remote to the hub location. We finally got our SP to get a capture of the call with choppy voice on the T1 leaving our remote router, Im guessing, not sure where they are/or how they are tapped into our T1. We are going to send a replacement router because this has been going on for a long time and we finally got the carrier to get a capture of it. We thought they were doing something on the MPLS cloud, because we would hear it bad at our hub location with our wireshark.
We have other remote sites with the same model 28ll 2xT1 or 4xT1, same IOS, similar configuration having no issues.
We have tested the T1's, the carrier ran stress test to our csu's. They do not show any errors on the interfaces. The wireshark shows drop by jitter buffer and wrong timestamps. Any one have similar issues caused by the router or any ideas if it could be the SP? the IOS is 12.4.8a.
