I have False Answering Supervision(FAS) problem when I use to connect CISco ATA186 with VoiceMaster Softswitch. When I a dialed a number I got continous ring on dialed number and no voice session or media is attached. I have seen this problem only with Voice Master and Mera System SoftSwitch (MVTS) also. Is this the ATA fault or Softswitches. Please advice me
Hard to say without seeing configs and debugs. Is the ATA running MGCP or SIP? IF MGCP it sounds like the call is being setup correctly but some MGCP parameters are not correct. You will need to work with the softswitch vendor to determine what exactly is happening, if that is the case.
