cisco ip phone service developpement

Hello ,

I am a beginer in cisco service developpement, and I have a question :

in our compagny all the IP phones have a 4 digits number, ex 8820, 8542, .... and we use extension mobility to prevent the abusive use of phones, so some users have their

profils and pins to login and call national and international lines, but others use phones locally,

the problem is that EM is not reliable, it stop one time per two month and causes problems,

can I use the some cisco API to developp a service instead of EM that ask the user to login when he dial a number that start by zero or a number that conatin more than 4 digits ??

Wrong forum, try "ip telephony", you can move the post using the control panel on the right.


1. Product must be reliable. If the are not, update software then if still trouble, contact the TAC.

2. To block calls, use FAC, that is documented in the manual.
