Cisco SIP Proxy Server (CSPS) and radius accounting

Hi all,

I'm running a Cisco Sip Proxy Server 2.1 (evaluation) on a Linux RH7.3 with a Freeradius running for the accounting.

I've got problems making the CSPS deliver accounting info the the radius server. I'm getting an "invalid shared secret". Although i'm absolutely sure that the secret key is absolutely the same !

Anybody seen this before ? or is there a way around using a radius server for accounting with CSPS ?

Regards

Lasse

Double check your shared secret key - remember they are case sensitive. CSPS supports Digest for authentication. One problem with Digest is that most Radius servers do not yet support it. The preferred approach would be to acquire a Radius server which supports Digest authentication and use that along with Digest authentication on CSPS. The following doc talks about Accounting Services Record Attributes. Might help.
