Communication between two ATA 186

Hi, can i comunicate two ATA 186 directly ?

I want to talk directly between them.

How can i do it ?

ATA 186 is used to connect Analog phones to an IP network and cannot be conencted back to back. But you can do with a Gatekeeper setup. The below link has the details.

Ok. I have a router 3600, with a upgrade can it be a Gatekeeper.

Hi. You can set ATA's back to back configuring the IP address of the remote ATA in the Gateway field. If you need to connect several ATA's then you'll need a GK.

Example:

Analog_Phone---ATA---(IP_NETWORK)---ATA---Analog_Phone

or
