configuraing IAD2431

Dear Experts,

we have deployed an IAD 2431 with 24 FXS ports, how can we configure the following features on the device ?

Call waiting, cancel call waiting

• Caller ID with name and number

• Caller ID blocking

• Caller ID with name/number and call waiting

• Call forwarding: no answer/busy/variable

• Call forwarding: remote access

• Call transfer

• Three-way calling

• Message waiting indicator/tone (stutter)

• Call return (*69)

• Repeat dialing, busy call return (*66)

• Call blocking with toll restriction

• Call trace

• Call screening (*60)

• Distinctive-ring service

• Off-hook warning tone

• Selective/anonymous call rejection

What is your sofswitch, or call manager ? Answers to you questions are to be searched there.

many thanks to your reply,

since the device is an FXS device ,I think the button combinations for transfering ,holding ,swaping between calls, ... are aomething to be defined in the configuration, because any simple phone can be attached to the device and they may not have such buttons in common ,for that reason I think there should be a simple configuration for enabling these features and defining some basic prameters like those above.

Hi, as mentioned above, all the call features are configure on the soft switch or call manager, not on the gateway.

Since you have not mentioned what your are using, it's impossible to make a recommendation.

our soft sitch is based on digium asterisk with a little diffrent interface and it runs on linux OS.
