Hi

Nope, you can connect a T1 to a T1. Not an FXO (a completely different technology) or a WIC (they don't support voice).

It has to be a voice T1 (i.e. for a 2800 series this would normally be a VWIC-1MFT-T1/E1 or VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 or the 2-port versions of these).

You also need DSPs - at least 24 channels, so a PVDM2-32 should cover the T1 and the four analog ports you have (unless you need more for transcoding, G729 calls, etc..).

Hi

I thought you had a 2800...???

As I understand it the UC series are fixed config, so no T1, no connection...

Yes, i have both 2800 and UC520

Thanks for your help

Re: connecting T1 from PBX to 2800 router running CME

The UC520-8U-4FXO-K9 does have a VIC slot, so you could add an MFT card.
