Now,a branch with CCM&Unity connect to headquarters' Siemens HiPath 4300 through E1 . Demand that the cisco phone inside branch can display the call name from headquarters Siemens HiPath's call .I know the phone can dispaly the call name from inside CCM ,but can they display the call name from outside ?Document say Qsig protocol can do it ,that can send call name information ,is it ?I am not sure. I don't know how to do it .And then , what
special demand has Gsig to voicegateway 2821,CCM and Unity,HiPath 4300 ? Can someone send related information to me ,specially configuration of Gsig ? Thanks

If you use MGCP, you have to select
PRI QSIG E1 under Interface Information/PRI Protocol Type at the Interface at the MGCP Gateway Configuration at the Call Manager.
Be aware that there are 2 types of QSIG, ISO and ECMA. CCM Default is ISO.
You can choose the type of QSIG under Services Service Parameters CCM Advanced since CCM Version 4.1
In the Q931 debug on the CCM you see messages starting with
0x9F which means ISO, or
0x91 which means ECMA.

yes, a Cisco 2821 supports QSIG. This one for example does support QSIG
