GKRCS options

Hello,

I'm trying to get my gatekeeper(2651) to connect to another provider. The only issue is that, the other provider runs Gatekeeper Routed Call Signaling (GKRCS), which as I've read that CISCO IOS based gatekeepers don't support.

What options do I have in terms of interoperating with the other provider that runs GKRCS.

Quote from peer:

"Our gatekeeper runs in routed signaling mode, which is mandatory for our network. We reply to the LRQ with an LCF, which includes the ip address of our gatekeeper and the port 1721 to communicate on. In addition we send an H323_Id in the LCF that must be returned by any subsequent messages including the call setup. These things are required in order to interwork with us."

Thanks.

Hi Roy,

Just saw your mail, it really shouldnt matter if the peer gk is gkrcs. Although Cisco GKs do not support GKRCS, it should still be able to send/recv LRQ/LCF to that GK.
