help in cisco ATA186

Dear

I have cisco ata186 and I configure it with voip service provider

the problem is .when I hang up the line and reopen it again to dial another number I found that the last call still on so I have to restart the router and the cisco

Make sure that your provider gives you at least one option for disconnect supervision.

This could be a problem on the router or the ATA it self.

What signalling protocol is in place here?

Have you tried playing with the Polarity values on the ATA?
