This questions is way to general to give a good answer. There are many aspects to VoIP and a few protocols. Please ask a more specific question.

HEllo,

I agree with my previous poster, but still: have a look at "Voice and IP Communications - Introduction"

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/index.html

Additionally you will find White Papers on the subject at "Voice and IP Communications - Additional Resources"

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/products_category_additional_resources.html

Once you have a general idea you might want to look into more technology oriented documentation. The links above will lead you there as well.

Hope this helps! Please rate all posts.

Regards, Martin

but sir first of all i would like to have ARCHITECTURE of VOIP technologies like how & which are the different devices and technologies used in VOIP like callmanager, router, voip phone, SRTS, its basic protocols then i would like to have dipper looks in it so please send me some linke which explaine the overview of all the components and its use.

I would suggest lookig at some of the design guides on CCO to get started:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/netsol/index.html

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/netsol/ns641/networking_solutions_packages_list.html

As you can ee online seminars are availible as well as many resources for researching this. For specific topics, try a search on CCO (example: SRST)

Hope this helps...

Hi,

I think the best link is the SRND (Solution Reference Network Design)

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/779/largeent/it/ese/srnd.html

You can choose the IP Telephony SRND for Cisco CallManager 4.0 and 4.1.

So you can see the integration of all the components of VoIP, IP Telephony, IPCC etc.

I hope it would help.
