How do we get the correct Serial Number for AS5300/5400 ?

Hi,

Does anybody know how we can get the correct serial numbers for AS5300/5400 devices using a CLI command?

The Serial Number or the Processor Board ID listed in the "show version" doesn't seem to be the right one.

Hi,

You can do also a

5300#sh inventory

in this case it gives you all slots and you don't need to specify a slot.
